Was thinking of writing this entry when I was reminded of a funny episode during the SK trip...

*Hotel room rings*

Galvin was feeling pranky... he knew that the phone wouldn't ring for no reason... must be the others calling... He picked up the phone.

Caller (in the local language): Hello? This is the operator...

Galvin: MUSHI MUSHI!

*long silence from the other side*

Galvin heard slight and distant chuckles

*phone got hung up*

It was Sylvia calling the boys' room up. The chukles apprently came from the girls who couldn't stand foiling their own plan.

Hur hur.

Ah... there's really much to give thanks for despite all that's happened and all that my family and I have gone through... So here goes:

FAMILY

For how God has been working in and through Dori... thankful that throughout the years of trials she's continuing to learn to trust... and really thankful that the SK trip served as a breakthrough for her. Thankful too... that she's found friends whom she can love and cherish.

For how God's been faithful in seeing mom through this extremely difficult period of time... and we're all learning to trust and cling on to the hope that is in Him.

MINISTRY

Youths: For how He's been moulding the various ones in TMS, how so many people are growing in love and maturity... for the protection that He's provided over them.

Missions: For the opportunity to go on the two trips this year... for the exposure and the subsequent words of affirmations.

Music: For making this area so vibrant this year through the two recording opportunities and the malaysia trips... For ministering to others through the songs written and recorded despite the awful quality. Haha...

PEOPLE

Alex aka GPP: Need I write more... :P
Raph: For the friendship. :)
Dori: For teaching your elder brother things even though he's older. Haha.
Steven (Chee): For just being naturally you.
Er di: For the prayers and the encouragements.
Tim, Gid, Clare & Meriss: You Agape Messengers were used greatly... know just that.
San di: For your growth and attempts to find a common time to talk. Hahaha.
sMonSter, Markudesu and 3sa: For being the bunch of people whom I know I can fall back on... in ministry, in life... though I'm not sure if I'm as reliable. Haha...
Choopoot: Wo yin shui si yuan. Hahaha... never forgetting how He's used you.

GOD

For never leaving me... never forsaking me. You call me who I am... I am Yours.
